Woke at 5am this morning. Managed to pick up Levi. Take him to my friend Cory’s house where I gave him a bath. Dropped off Felix at my friend Sherry’s house. Hit the interstate, to the Lodi exit. Stopped to fuel up the van and got to Lodi ON TIME for the Parade…Woot woot.
Meet my friend and co-worker DC. She drove here to help by pulling the Duck wagon and throwing out Tootsie Rolls.
My gurl Candace, left her families camping trip, and drove here to drive the van behind us in the parade.
Levi was calm and content as we got ready for the parade. We were the 65th in line.
DC told Levi what a good boy he is before the parade began.
He thanked her by trying to get the bag of candy right from off her shoulder.
Levi begins checking things out.
Candace is ready to roll.
This is the entry we were behind.
The Parade begins.
People loved Levi. You could hear shouts of “Look at the Donkey” all along the way.
I stopped here and there to let children pet him. At last we reached the park at the end of the Parade.
The entry behind us.
We all hugged and said our goodbyes for the day. Candace headed back to Indian Trails Campground, and DC to her place. I however decided to check out more of this lovely city.
