We were invited to the Wild Apples/ Red Shed for a painting party today. After a quick bath, we are ready to go.
This place is like no other. It is a must see for artists and gardeners. There is a multitude of amazing yard/ home art everywhere you look.
When we arrived the painters were already working on their project. A metal Sun with a face.
Jenn offered a sun for me to paint but I declined as I was itching to start taking photos of this garden art menagerie. She kindly put Felix to work on painting a piece of cardboard and I went to town on my photo opportunity.
Levi stood in his stall and watched the painters doing their thing. As usual he was quiet and appeared to be very interested with the whole process.
The artists were quietly painting these wonderful sunny faces.
Budda happily joining in with his delightful smile.
I must have taken well over a hundred photos of this whimsical little shop.
I felt like ALICE gone down the rabbit hole. ALL these magnificent things just demand to be seen.
And the Red Shed… Oh how I love this little Red Shed.
I had fun trying different shots with this particular Shed. I love the Crosses on it.
I was enthralled by all the whimsical items that were surrounding me. I enjoyed a nice conversation this lovely woman who has survived cancer. She explained how very much believes in the power of prayer. I’m so glad that we crossed paths and had a chance to visit for a bit. She worked on watering the plants.
You just know that these hard working owners of this joint venture put a lot of heart and soul into this place. It shows.
Working on spraying a sealer over the finished pieces.
Felix was thrilled with his painting.
Next Jenn gave Felix a little clay pot to paint. He loves creating art work. I believe his was born with the gift of art.
It’s never ending treasures as you go around another corner here.
It lifts your spirit when you walk around exploring this place.
All the time we were there it a sweet and wonderful energy. When I decieded to take Felix and Levi to Rock Springs, we thanked the owners and with Felix’s art in tow…off we went on a new adventure to see Rock Springs. There is an artesian well there where anyone can come and get free spring water.
We had a wonderful time with you today. Thank you for allowing me to take photos to share your rockin’ place on my blog. Peace. Love. And Blessings.
